I found this piece of short fiction I had composed a few years earlier.  I thought I would share it today.  



It was a just a typical end of a Sunday morning service.  One that was acted out thousands of times across the world that day, in churches of all size and color. I think that this is something that we have a hard time understanding in our democratic world.  I have never lived under a king, and the only monarchy I can think of off hand is England, which seems to be pretty symbolic for the most part. Yesterday was our first sunday here and we went to a church we visited about 6 mths ago when here.  First time we loved it.  Second time we hated it.  In fact we left early.  The church has not changed, but we have.  God has completley changed our view of church. I just got back from Branson, MO.  I just spent a week with the love of my life, my new wife, on our honeymoon.
